Karen Kmetz and Carolyn Embry are putting together a book club for the ladies of the neighborhood. Here’s Karen’s original email:
Good morning ladies. I’m sending this out to see if there might be interest in getting a neighborhood book group together. Carolyn Embry and I talked about this a few days ago, thought it might be fun to meet locally once a month, have appetizers or dinner and beverages, and talk about a book. Not stick to any genre, just something we all agree on, hopefully enjoy reading, and then get together and talk about.
If you think this might work for you, let me or Carolyn know. Even though I’m a snowbird, if there’s enough interest to keep a book group going, I would love to read whatever books you choose and e-mail my comments so I could stay in the group.
